Reason’s for a Bridal Trial

Here’s a few solid reasons a Bridal Beauty Trial is a MUST:

Working with soon-to-be brides, we often get asked “Is a bridal trial run really necessary?”

Our answer to that is “absolutely, Yes!” While we realize that skipping your trial run could save some money and time, it is an essential process that is very beneficial to your big day. A bride-to-be wouldn’t dare try on her dress for the first time the day of the wedding or skip out on having a food tasting or a listening session with her entertainment. That would be crazy for a wedding day. Well the same should go for your hair and makeup. Your wedding day is the most memorable, most photographed day of your life, wouldn’t you want to look as flawless as possible?

A bridal trial gives you the chance to see exactly how you’ll look on your big day and gives your stylist the chance to become familiar with your style and perfect your wedding day look. It helps guarantee your wedding day runs smoothly without any surprises or hiccups! If you still need convincing that scheduling a trial isn’t important or you don’t see the value in spending the money for a trial, please keep reading…

In case you’re still iffy about your Bridal Trial Run here’s 3 solid reasons why it’s a MUST:

1) It’s an opportunity to discover if you and your artist are compatible. It’s a chance for you to get to know if their personality and skill level is a fit for you. Are you comfortable with them?  Do you feel your artist understands your desired style? Do you believe your artist can help you execute your perfect wedding day look even if you aren’t sure what you want yet?

2) You find the look that best suits you! Sometimes a bride will fall in love with a hairstyle or makeup look they find in a magazine or on Pinterest, but when they see it on, they soon come to realize it looked way better on the woman in the magazine. Whether it’s your hair, skin, or face shape that’s keeping you from that bridal magazine worthy look, the artist can make suggestions that best suit you that is still similar to your original inspiration or create a completely different look all together. A trial run will give you the option to try on different looks and perfect your final look beforehand.

3) It’s practice for your artist and an insurance policy. You don’t want to find out the day of that you’re allergic to the eyeshadow or foundation your artist is using. That would be a literal nightmare! You definitely don’t want to ruin your own wedding experience because your hair and makeup took too long! During your bridal trial run your artist becomes familiar with your face and hair. They learn what products work best for you, how long it will take to execute your look, and if any other products need to be purchased to complete your desired result.

It’s good to see what your inspiration ACTUALLY looks like on you at your trial. I don’t look anything like the woman in the inspiration photo so it was important for me to see how that look translates with my look. ? My wedding day look came out even better than my trial run! [I used the featured image via Pinterest by @vivianmakeupartist ? to give my lead stylist for inspiration for my bridal look]
